If you'd like to access your Carolina University email from your smartphone, you can do so via the official Gmail app on your smartphone. (If you already have the Gmail app installed on your phone, skip to step 3b to see how to add an additional email account to the app)
1. On your smartphone, navigate to its app store. For Android users, it's the Google Play Store; for iPhone users, it's the App Store.
2. Search for "Gmail" on your phone's app store, and download the official Google Gmail app.
3. Launch the Gmail app, and when asked to add a new account, select "Google"
3b. If you simply want to add an additional email account to your installed Gmail app: Tap your user profile picture at the top-right and then tap 'Add another account' in order to add your Carolina University Gmail account.
4. Then, enter your @carolinau.edu email address and password you use to log into my.carolinau.edu (Note: In the Gmail app, if you're asked to enter your @carolinau.edu email again, please do so if the app redirects you to a Microsoft login portal)
5. After you've entered your CU email and password inside the Gmail app, then you should have access to your email now!
