Update your VPN to maintain connection Print

With the switch from our Piedmontu.edu domain to our new Carolinau.edu domain, it requires us to update our VPN connections.

A very simple change to your VPN settings is required to maintain the use of your VPN connection.

Step 1: Launch "SoftEther VPN Client Manager" from the Windows 'Start' menu.

Step 2: Right-click on your VPN connection, then click 'Properties'

Step 3: Change the 'Host Name' field from "remote.piedmontu.edu" to the new, correct "remote.carolinau.edu", then click "OK" at the bottom.

Step 4: Now you should be able to successfully connect back to the VPN.
