Carolina University's Technology Department is excited to announce that all CU students, staff, and faculty have free access to Microsoft Office 365. You are able to install Office 365 on up to 5 PCs or Macs, as well as mobile devices, including Windows Mobile, Apple IOS, and Android.
Office 365 is a fully‐installed application, which allows you to create reports and presentations with the latest versions of the applications you know and trust. Office 365 includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other components.
To gain access, simply navigate using a web browser to portal.office.com. Sign in using your @carolinau.edu email address and My CarolinaU password. Once signed in you will have the option to download and install Office 365 onto your PC or Mac.
Office 365 is also available on Apple iOS and Android through the various app stores.
How long can I use this plan?
You can use the plan until you graduate or are no longer enrolled at Carolina University. At expiration, the Office applications enter a reduced‐functionality mode, which means documents can be viewed but it isn’t possible to edit or create new documents.
Who manages the OneDrive account provided with this offer?
Your account is managed by Carolina University's Technology Department.
Can I share this plan with others?
Office 365 Education is only licensed for use by eligible students, staff, and faculty members at CU.
